If someone has used Adaptibar and BarMax, I’d like to know how the explanations compare as well. I passed the MBE in 2018 using AdaptiBar. I also mixed in other question books I had (a Kaplan book, strategies and tactics, etc). I’ve seen people pass and attribute their success to Adapti, UWorld, and/or the big commercial prep companies ...Adaptibar has more questions then UWorld. I took UWorld's free trial and I mainly went for it because of the explanations. I am not 100% sure if UWorld has all of the recent NCBE questions. That's a good question, I should ask them. I would say on average that this year's MBE felt harder than my usual set, but I obviously cant say until I get the results. I have taken two MBEs thus far scoring a 141 and a 139. The fact that you have used both and still side with UWorld has definitely swayed me to go with them. A professor of mine (in the academic success department) suggested that when Themis tells you to do practice questions, to do half of them on adaptibar and half of them on Themis. So for example, when it tells you do a session of 34 questions, split it up that way. He suggested that eventually (in the last month) to only do the adaptibar questions. There’s some that you’ll feel like you’ve seen before and others that you’ll feel like you’re unprepared for. Themis questions are different but help you learn the law.
